Preparation for the task
In class, your child has become a creative chef for Halloween. Georgette is throwing a Halloween party and she has misplaced her recipe book. Your child created a recipe, ( a procedural piece of writing) to help out Georgette for her party. All the recipes will be combined to create a new recipe book for Georgette.
Now that the recipe has been edited, your child needs to show Georgette and the rest of the class, how to make this recipe. At home, your child has to gather all the ingredients (yes, all ingredients are fake) and any materials they need. They should be practicing how they will present their recipe to the class. I will provide a table and cauldron for your child.

- Learn the text - allowed cue cards
- Vary the tone of voice
- Speak in complete sentences
- Use the correct French vocabulary
- Watch the intonation of the voice
